Sunday.
After last night's disappointing ballet performance of Alice in Wonderland, it was nice to attend a couple of one-act plays today, and the price was free! The Roving Park Players put on a nice little production of Such a Nice Kitty and Trifles at New Zone Gallery today. I have never been disappointed by these. The plays utilize a minimum of characters; only 3 in Such a Nice Kitty and 5 in Trifles. The Roving Park Players also have a limited budget so the sets are abbreviated but still provide an intimate ambiance to help set the tone; these are the best kinds of plays in my opinion. It always amazes me how much information can be conveyed with so little "setting". I am looking forward to their other plays set up for the summer months and will be at the local parks.
~It's going to be a great summer!
